Data Center Technician - Orangeburg, NY

Core Weave is a publicly traded AI cloud infrastructure company. As a Data Center Technician, you will maintain the availability and reliability of Core Weave's data center environments through hands‑on hardware diagnostics, repairs, and support of mission‑critical infrastructure at an onsite data center location.

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, including root cause analysis of failures
• Assemble, install, and maintain server and networking equipment
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Participate in on‑call rotation to respond to equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes
• Train internal teams and develop documentation for operational procedures
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as needed

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Experience in data center environments
• Experience with computer networking
• Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and work in cramped or elevated spaces
• Availability to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 environment including rotating on‑call shifts

• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT‑related field

Base salary $65,000–$83,000 plus discretionary bonus and equity awards.
