Job Description:

Position Summary:

Perform needs assessments and job/task analyses by working with SMEs and conducting focus groups to identify training needs and business requirements. Design and develop training materials such as PPTs, job aids, user guides, quick reference guides, e-learning modules, and instructor-led training. Translate complex technical documentation (functional specs, test scripts, vendor docs) into training content for technical and non-technical audiences. Manage training projects including timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resources.

Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and conduct stakeholder meetings. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve training-related issues and roadblocks. Responsibilities:
Perform needs assessments and job/task analyses, including conducting focus groups and working with subject matter experts, to analyze training needs and business requirements. Research, design, and develop training products, timeline, and deliverables (e.g., PPTs, job aids, user guides, quick reference guides, e-learning, and virtual and instructor-led training courses) and consult with clients to determine appropriate training solutions. Interpret and translate complex technical project information (e.g., functional specifications, test scripts, vendor documentation) into training material for technical and non-technical audiences.

Manage client expectations, make recommendations, and communicate project status updates. Conduct SME focus groups/meetings to gather information for development. Present/facilitate train-the-trainer sessions. Manage multiple projects, including product, milestones, schedules, deliverables, and resources, in support of training goals and objectives. Problem solves, troubleshoot, and mitigate issues related to training roadblocks. Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, business, or technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing systems and/or technical training materials. Experience applying instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies (ADDIE, SAM). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Snag It, and eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). Strong verbal, written, and facilitation skills (train-the-trainer experience).

Experience managing multiple training projects with timelines and deliverables. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, adaptable, and proactive team player.
