Position: System Administrator Level 2 (MSP)
Location: New York

Schedule: Hybrid Remote, approximately 70% WFH

Overview

We are a process-driven Managed Services Provider hiring a System Administrator Level 2 to support escalations, client onboarding, cloud migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.

This role is ideal for someone with MSP experience who has moved beyond basic help desk support and wants more ownership across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, endpoint security, backups, and cloud environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, document clearly, and help implement long-term fixes instead of short-term workarounds.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve advanced Level 2 escalations across multiple client environments
  • Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra , and user access issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Windows Server, endpoint, application, and connectivity issues
  • Support networking issues involving firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCP
  • Assist with client onboarding, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and system improvement projects
  • Troubleshoot endpoint security, backup, and business continuity issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and help implement permanent technical fixes
  • Maintain accurate documentation for client environments, configurations, and resolutions
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide polished, professional technical support
Required Experience
  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • 3+ years of IT support, escalation support, or systems administration experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra
  • Working knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, permissions, and user administration
  • Networking experience with firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Exposure to endpoint security, backups, business continuity, or cloud migration work
  • Strong documentation habits and ability to troubleshoot to root cause
