Position SummaryPeanuts Worldwide is seeking an Intellectual Property Support Administrator to join our dedicated team, providing crucial support to our group. Reporting directly to the SVP of Business & Legal Affairs, this role will play a key part in building and protecting the Peanuts brand on a global basis. The position is on a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the NYC office.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with brand protection and anti‑piracy enforcement, and monitor and verify overall anti‑counterfeiting measures.
- Maintain and administer various brand enforcement strategies, including preparing draft letters and takedown notices from templates.
- Manage and administer domestic and international customs clearance requests, liaising with account executives, agents, and licensees.
- Assist the Business & Legal Affairs team and liaise with outside legal counsel in supporting trademark opposition and cancellation actions, supporting and updating trademark and copyright infringement and other enforcement actions, collecting and organizing information and materials from various sources, and communicating with internal stakeholders.
- Take ownership of assignments related to intellectual property processes, manage timelines, and ensure deadlines are met in a fluid and fast‑paced global work environment.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate or other relevant certification required, with a strong interest in intellectual property.
- Experience working in the licensing or intellectual property field is an asset.
- Organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple complex, confidential files and to provide excellent service to internal and global clients.
- Ability to work easily with changing priorities, timelines, and processes, and to prioritize workload and problem‑solve.
- Extensive computer and database experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- High competency level for computer literacy and agility working with cloud‑based software applications.

The target annualized base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
