Responsibilities
- Responsible for manual claiming in You Tube's CMS (publishing assets).
- Review and process potential claims queues in You Tube's CMS.
- Work with Copyright/Licensing department in maximizing You Tube income.
- Stay up to date with changes to You Tube's CMS and call out any bugs/issues to Copyright/Licensing department.
- Assist department with data entry and management across company platforms. Maintain data cleanliness and consistency across company platforms.
- Help track the use of the company's catalog on digital platforms (e.g., Tik Tok, Triller, Apple, Peloton, etc.).
- Identify and research potential digital licensing targets.
- Assist department with generating CWR files and processing ACK files.
- Assist department with performing registration auditing in various databases.
- Source missing song and recording data and/or information.
- Maintain knowledge of the company roster of talent in publishing, records, and management.
- Analyze international markets for opportunities to increase revenue through direct licensing and collection.
- Determine optimal licensing structure and business partners in foreign markets.
- Negotiate content licensing agreements with foreign companies.
- Build relationships with foreign companies to improve collections.
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Music, Business, or related field. - Experience:
Six (6) months of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Annual salary: $74,799-$90,000/yr.
