Overview

Join a Firmwide Privacy Office and help shape the future of privacy at a leading global financial institution. In this role, you will lead critical initiatives that protect clients and enable data-driven business outcomes. You will navigate complex privacy and data protection regulations and deliver meaningful impact across the firm. Responsibilities
  • Lead Firmwide Privacy Office support to the Chief Data and Analytics Office regulatory change management practice for privacy and data
  • Lead key regulatory change management projects in partnership with stakeholders across the firm
  • Support the firm's Data Regulatory Affairs function on privacy and data topics
  • Develop and maintain governance documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Lead and support projects that enhance the firm's privacy program
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex initiatives
Required Qualifications , Capabilities, And Skills
  • Ten years of experience in privacy and data protection law and/or privacy program leadership in a complex organization
  • Deep knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and GLBA
  • Experience assessing new privacy regulatory requirements
  • Experience with legal and regulatory change management or adjacent regulatory programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage relationships across multiple functions and regions
  • Strong judgment with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication with stakeholder management and project leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities, And Skills
  • Experience in privacy or data protection at a financial institution
  • Familiarity with the three lines of defense risk management model
  • Professional certifications in privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM)
  • Experience partnering with regulatory affairs or government relations teams
  • Demonstrated capability supporting enterprise positions on industry standards and external developments in privacy and data
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence, data governance, and emerging technology regulatory topics
