Electronic Archiving Project Manager – New York City

RR Donnelley is hiring an Electronic Archiving Project Manager for its New York City team. The role requires a hybrid work schedule with 3 days on site.

This position is responsible for managing complex onboardings for the Electronic Archiving (EA) program, ensuring compliance with Records Management policies and best practices. The manager will also oversee program‑level initiatives aligned with the RRD Global Strategic Manager and EA Global Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as project manager and lead for complex, high‑priority or high‑risk Archive
    360 onboardings.
  • Manage program‑level initiatives and enterprise data migrations (including ERA, ZL Tech, and On‑Demand environments) from initiation through successful UAT and deployment.
  • Collaborate with the Global eArchive Project Manager Lead on Archive
    360 onboarding requests (BAU, ad‑hoc, other programs).
  • Collate with EA Records Specialist as needed for program initiatives or interfacing with the IM/DLM team.
  • Attend and lead client meetings, production and management status calls, and provide training and guidance on electronic records management policies and procedures.
  • Provide transparent, proactive status updates, risk assessments, and escalation paths on project status to the Global EA Lead and key stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues to the Global eArchive Project Manager Lead or Global EA Lead.
  • Track, analyze, and report on quality metrics; strategize with the client and deliver services that attract and retain client loyalty.
  • Ensure all deliverable deadlines are met for all onboardings and special projects.
  • Maintain contact with clients/stakeholders to set project milestones, create estimates, track schedules, advise of job progress, and address scheduling concerns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent Mac and/or PC computer skills with ability to learn new applications and provide basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment, eDiscovery, and data migration preferred.
  • Proactive, collaborative, driven, and striving for excellence in task execution.
  • Experience in utilizing continuous improvement and automation tools to create and track metrics preferred.
  • Complete understanding of the “Big Picture” enabling problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to interpret and understand clients’ expectations and direct the production team.
  • Strong project management discipline, organizational skills, and time‑management skills.
  • Proven track record with strong, effective client relationships and solution delivery.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, listening for understanding.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams, internally and client‑side; independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and beyond, increasing volume and profitability.
Additional Information

Salary range: $74,000 to $115,500 per year, which may be adjusted based on geographic location and may change in the future. Compensation may include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
