- Build and scale data infrastructure for training, evaluation, and inference of biological foundation models
- Develop high-performance inference serving systems and distributed ML pipelines
- Create data ingestion, indexing, search, and retrieval systems for large biological datasets
- Improve performance across GPU, networking, and storage layers
- Build tools for dataset quality, debugging, monitoring, and operational visibility
- Ensure data reliability, reproducibility, privacy, and compliance
- Partner closely with ML engineers and researchers to support model development
- Strong background in backend, infrastructure, distributed systems, or data platform engineering
- Experience building large-scale training, inference, or data systems in production
- Deep understanding of GPU workloads, data-loading bottlenecks, and ML infrastructure
- Experience with large datasets, indexing, search, retrieval, and data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Proven ability to own critical production systems and make pragmatic architectural decisions
- Comfortable in fast-moving startup environments with broad ownership
