We're seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on 2nd shift. In this hands-on position, you'll play a critical role in keeping our technology infrastructure running smoothly across a fast-paced, high-energy environment. From business systems and workstations to audiovisual equipment and enterprise platforms, you'll help ensure exceptional experiences for both employees and guests.
What You'll Do
As an IT Specialist, you'll be at the center of daily operations, providing technical expertise and support across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and supporting critical business systems, including POS, casino, and hotel management platforms
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of technology and AV equipment
- Providing responsive technical support via phone, email, and in person
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Performing installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs) throughout the property
- Managing and documenting hardware and AV inventory
- Conducting preventative maintenance to maximize system reliability and performance
- Recommending and implementing technology improvements and upgrades
- Following through on issues to ensure complete resolution and excellent user satisfaction
- High school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred - 3-5 years of IT support experience
- Experience in casino, hospitality, banking, entertainment, or other customer-facing environments is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiarity with IBM AS400/System i5 environments is a plus
- A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional support
This is an active, hands-on position that combines office-based work with support in a lively operational environment. Candidates should be comfortable lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds regularly (and occasionally more), while working in areas where activity levels and noise can vary throughout the day.
