Database Administrator; DBA

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database security, performance, availability, and integrity while supporting business operations and data-driven decision-making.

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support.
• Manage user access, permissions, and database security policies.
• Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to support application requirements.
• Implement database updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Monitor database capacity and plan for future growth.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database administration.
• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, or similar DBMS.
• Understanding of database backup, recovery, and replication.
• Performance tuning and query optimization skills.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Database certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft SQL Server Certification, or equivalent are preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in database administration or a related role.
• Experience managing large-scale databases is an advantage.
