Sr Software Development Engineer, Amazon Connect, Resource Configuration

We are building the next generation of contact center technology, focusing on resource configuration. The role leads the development of new customer‑facing features, scales infrastructure for the agentic era, and designs and delivers complex migrations while mentoring other engineers.

• Own code end‑to‑end from design to production, ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Lead resource‑configuration initiatives, including developing new features and scaling infrastructure.
• Design and deliver complex migrations for Amazon Connect customers.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders across AWS.

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
