Software development is undergoing its most fundamental transformation in decades. The rise of agentic AI is collapsing the distance between intent and working software — and Kiro is at the center of that shift. Kiro is an agentic system developed at AWS that reimagines how developers build software: by combining an agentic backend with delightful user experiences that enable developers to build high quality, maintainable software.
Kiro's spec‑driven development and autonomous agents act as virtual teammates, handling everything from requirements gathering to code review, test generation, infrastructure scaffolding, and documentation updates, while keeping humans in control of every diff before it ships.
- Own customer success strategy for Kiro and unblock developers on Kiro social and internal channels to drive adoption.
- Provide specialist assistance for strategic and enterprise customers and partner with field teams to drive successful engagements.
- Define and prioritize features that address key customer pain points by partnering closely with product teams.
- Partner directly with engineering teams and leadership to surface key customer trends in reviews and resolve high priority issues.
- Build tools and agents to automate workflows used by internal teams and support.
- Support new launches by thorough testing and QA of product features to surface high priority bugs before launch.
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies.
- Experience in sales, technical pre‑sales, product development, or customer facing roles.
- Experience with agentic AI patterns — multi‑agent orchestration, tool use, function calling, chain‑of‑thought reasoning, and autonomous agent workflows.
- Strong conceptual understanding of machine learning fundamentals and modern generative AI techniques.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
- Experience with interoperability protocols such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) for standardized tool integration and/or A2A (Agent‑to‑Agent) for multi‑agent communication.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML concepts including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and model evaluation.
- Contributions to open‑source projects in agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or developer platforms.
- Experience with enterprise AI governance frameworks, including security, auditability, and responsible AI requirements for production software development.
