Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an Electronic Warfare Training Systems Analyst to work on a team executing integration efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis AFB, NV to support the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) team. This position is part of a team that provides on-site Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support to establish and deliver high-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test (HEAT3) capability for Government personnel operating under USAFWC/ACC.

Job Responsibilities Provide on-site support of 31st Combat Training Squadron’s Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role will support the JSE engineering team in assessing and optimizing performance and reliability of hardware and software components for advanced synthetic test and training environments within JSE at the JITTC-N. This will include, but are not limited to:
• Plan, execute, analyze, and report component and system-level performance and stability on JSE software training systems, e.g. Next Generation Threat Systems (NGTS) and Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS), needed to sustain JSE training missions requirements.
• Support the JSE engineering team to prioritize and execute validation and verification (V&V) objectives required for operational readiness of various threat training simulators and associated mission debrief systems and support equipment.
• Monitor and analyze simulator system performance and reliability data daily for reports and documentation.
• Recommend changes and updates on simulators and support equipment as required.
• Support verification and validation (V&V) efforts by developing test plans, executing simulations, and documenting test methodology, procedures, and results.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge to help solve complex problems by interpreting technical manuals or similar documents.
