Location: New York

Lead and oversee a team of approximately 10 systems administrators and engineers. This is a leadership-focused role. The right person is someone who thrives on managing people, setting priorities, and keeping the environment running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team of IT professionals across infrastructure, security, applications, service desk, and regional IT providing direction, mentorship, and accountability
  • Establish operational standards, performance metrics, and career development paths for IT staff, including regular one-on-ones and performance reviews
  • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy, owning roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments, system capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Oversee the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and driving continuous improvement across processes and tooling
  • Set team priorities, manage workloads, and serve as an escalation point for complex issues
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract, and contribute to budgeting and resource allocation

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure teams in a hands-on leadership capacity
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, VPN, Terminal Services / VDI, and thin client environments
  • Experience supporting retail operations environments is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
