Position Overview

Assistant Vice President – Investment Technology Solutions (New York, NY)

• Engineer technology solutions and coordinate delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement enterprise portfolio accounting, securities trading, and real‑estate investment systems.
• Build prototypes and dashboards using business intelligence tools and construct complex SQL scripts to generate insights for stakeholders.
• Design applications for alternative real estate, including migrating applications to internal and vendor‑hosted cloud solutions and integrating single‑sign‑on capabilities.
• Apply regulatory reporting concepts in the investment alternatives area focused on real estate to support technical and business stakeholders.
• Implement solutions that calculate performance attribution and returns analysis of real‑estate investments.
• Troubleshoot issues and support stakeholders using Python, SQL, VBA, and SFTP data transfer protocols.
• Manage technical platforms, vendors, and projects; enable and integrate the build‑out and delivery of new products and specialized applications using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Utilize data governance tools (Collibra), real‑estate valuation modeling tools (Argus), and software development lifecycle tools (JIRA, HP‑ALM, Confluence).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience delivering IT solutions, performing data analysis, and integrating them into enterprise portfolio accounting and securities trading systems in the alternatives investment domain.
• Experience building prototypes and dashboards using business intelligence tools.
• Strong SQL skills; experience constructing complex SQL scripts.
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA, and SFTP.
• Experience designing cloud‑hosted applications and integrating single‑sign‑on.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and performance attribution for real‑estate investments.
• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience with data governance tools (Collibra) and real‑estate valuation modeling tools (Argus).
• Proficiency with JIRA, HP‑ALM, and Confluence.

$144,000 – $147,000 per year.
