We are seeking a Senior Oracle GIS Database Administrator to manage Oracle OMS and Esri-based GIS environments. This role involves supporting and optimizing Oracle and ArcGIS systems, ensuring database performance, security, and reliability for critical GIS applications.
Primary Responsibilities- Administer and optimize Oracle OMS and Esri GIS environments (ArcSDE, ArcFM).
- Perform database maintenance, including tuning, reorgs, compressions, and index rebuilds.
- Implement disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Manage spatial data models for gas and electric systems and support ArcGIS Enterprise migrations.
- Handle data synchronization, replication, and manage GIS database security and compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration with a focus on GIS.
- Strong expertise in ArcGIS, ArcFM, ArcSDE, and Oracle Utilities.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL Loader, Data Pump, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with AWS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Couchbase or Realm databases.
