Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Medical Insights strategies, frameworks, standards, and ways of working.
- Drive alignment of Medical Insights approaches across Medical Affairs for consistency, quality, scalability, and value.
- Participate in Medical Insights governance and planning forums (prioritization, roadmap alignment, progress tracking).
- Identify and help prioritize opportunities across the end-to-end Medical Insights lifecycle.
- Define and refine Insights use cases and business questions aligned to Medical strategies, asset plans, and evidence generation priorities.
- Translate business needs into functional and data requirements for Medical Insights tools and workflows.
- Evaluate analytics and AI-enabled capabilities for scientific rigor, compliance, usability, and relevance.
- Guide application of advanced analytics/AI to address priority Medical questions (fit-for-purpose, decision-relevant outputs).
- Translate insights into actionable outputs that support decision-making and strategic discussions.
- Embed Medical Insights into core Medical processes (strategy development, evidence planning, scientific engagement).
- Define and monitor indicators of value and impact (relevance, timeliness, adoption, decision influence).
- Enable adoption of Medical Insights platforms/tools; monitor utilization and effectiveness.
- Support planning, change management, and communications for adoption; conduct analyses to surface trends/unmet needs.
- Build collaborative relationships and act as a trusted thought partner on capabilities, value, and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s+ in Life Sciences/Biomedical/Pharma Sciences/Data Sciences/Data Analytics (8+ years relevant industry; 7+ with Masters; 5+ with PharmD/PhD).
- Medical Affairs/Medical Analytics/Medical Strategy/Medical Communications/R&D experience; understanding of how insights are generated, synthesized, and applied.
- 3+ years analyzing/interpreting/synthesizing data and insights, including visualization.
- Experience in complex, cross-functional, matrixed, global environments.
- Lead initiatives through influence without formal authority.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills; credibility with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to partner across cultures/regions.
- Strong English verbal/written communication across scientific/analytical/regulatory/business contexts.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical/Medical Affairs environment (clinical development, GCP, data interpretation, regulatory/promotional, legal/compliance, governance).
- Advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD/MS) in relevant discipline.
- Experience/certifications in analytics, AI-enabled solutions, digital health, project management, or business strategy.
- Familiarity with analytics/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Dataiku); understanding of modern data/AI in Medical Affairs (hands‑on programming not required).
