GIS Analyst; ArcGIS Pro

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a GIS Analyst in New York, NY.

Source, clean, and structure data for import to ArcGIS Pro; analyze data using ArcGIS Pro including converting Excel to tables, joining/relating data, creating new feature classes and layers, creating maps and more; use MS Excel to analyze and manipulate data, synthesize and summarize findings for briefing memos; interact and collaborate with staff.

• Studies the software application domain, prepares software requirements and specification documents, liaises between software users and developers, conveys user demands to developers; skills include working knowledge of software technology, programming experience, general business knowledge, problem‑solving skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Candidate is able to work independently without assistance and provides guidance to others; may hold an advanced education.
• 60 months of experience geocoding data and programming related to geospatial analysis.
• 60 months of experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro software.
• 60 months of experience working with large datasets using MS Excel.
• 60 months of experience sourcing publicly available data for geospatial mapping analysis.
• 60 months of experience working with MS Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
• Bachelor's Degree in GIS‑related discipline or equivalent.
• ESRI ArcGIS Pro Associate Certification.
