Job SummaryThe Manager, Advanced Analytics leads the design and execution of sophisticated modeling and analytical techniques that guide client media spending. This role combines technical development with relationship management, collaborating with clients, internal stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to deliver impactful insights.
What You’ll Do- 70% – Develop and enhance data and analytics capabilities:
- Lead the creation of a campaign measurement framework for a key client vertical.
- Spearhead modeling and analytic efforts for new product launches and initiatives.
- Improve the use of Horizon’s analytics infrastructure and propose new capabilities.
- Automate processes and implement technology to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Research external best practices, assess their relevance, and translate them into internal applications.
- Manage individual projects from concept through execution.
- 30% – Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships:
- Establish and maintain relationships with functional areas, the Analytics team, Brand, Activation, and Operations.
- Act as liaison between Analytics and other internal teams.
- Engage with client and brand teams and manage day‑to‑day interactions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor direct reports, supporting their career growth.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a determined mindset.
- Analytical mindset with passion for media, data, and technology.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive analyses that tell a story.
- Business acumen, understanding strategic levers and the role of analytics in decision making.
- Creative thinker who structures vague requests and challenges norms.
- Persistence and tenacity to move through road‑blocks with enthusiasm.
- Collaborative, can‑do attitude, and strong verbal communication.
- Experienced in fast‑paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
- 3–5 years in Advanced Analytics, preferably in media or adjacent fields.
- 1–3 years of team‑leadership experience.
- High‑end marketing response modeling expertise (e.g., MMM).
- Consulting skills: problem‑solving, client collaboration, and solution ownership.
- Proficient in R, SQL, Python – able to produce clean, reproducible code.
- Domain knowledge across social, programmatic, SEM, TV, and other media ecosystems.
Salary Range: $ – $ (base salary may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
