MBA Consultant, Merchandising Analytics & Reporting

About the Role

, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical MBA candidate or recent graduate to support a high-impact merchandising analytics and reporting initiative within our merchandising organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data, reporting, and analytics. The consultant will partner closely with merchandising and planning leadership to improve reporting capabilities, build scalable dashboards and reporting processes, and help drive better business visibility and decision-making.

The project will focus heavily on reporting development, business intelligence support, data analysis, and merchandising performance insights within a fast-paced retail and eCommerce environment.

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Sigma and other BI/reporting platforms
• Support merchandising and planning teams with scalable reporting solutions and data visibility improvements
• Work with Snowflake and large datasets to organize, analyze, and interpret business data
• Translate business questions into actionable reporting and analytical insights
• Analyze merchandising, assortment, promotional, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
• Validate reporting accuracy and support KPI development across teams
• Create executive-ready summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, analytics, and finance teams
• Assist with reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
• Present project findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the engagement

• Currently pursuing an MBA or recent MBA graduate preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or analytics tools preferred
• Exposure to Sigma, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into business insights
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment

• Retail, eCommerce, merchandising, or business analytics experience
• Experience building dashboards, reports, or reporting frameworks
• Exposure to self-service analytics and reporting environments
• Consulting, internship, or project-based analytics experience preferred
