Position: EPIC Team Lead – Patient Engagement

Location:
Westchester County, NY

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Team Lead for our EPIC Patient Engagement group to oversee a dynamic team dedicated to expanding and optimizing Epic software solutions. This strategic leadership role involves guiding system enhancements, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless technical support for healthcare providers and stakeholders.

Base pay range

$/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead workflow analysis, data collection, system design, and troubleshooting to enhance Epic applications.
  • Prepare detailed requirement specifications, offering technical expertise to assess and implement system improvements.
  • Direct project planning efforts, defining scope, objectives, resource allocation, and priorities while proactively managing risks and issues.
  • Provide high-level client service, addressing escalated incidents through advanced troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring system efficiency, adherence to standards, and optimal performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of leadership experience, including staff supervision, coaching, and team development within healthcare IT or a related field.
  • Strong background in team coordination, delegation, performance management, and mentorship.
  • Epic certification in at least one of the following:
    Epic Ambulatory, Epic Clin Doc, Epic MyChart (MyChart certification required, if not already obtained).
  • Proven expertise in Epic application implementation, including configuration, go-live support, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong technical documentation abilities.
