Data Science Manager

Harnham is partnering with a consulting firm focused on revenue growth strategy to hire a Manager, Commercial Data Science. This role sits at the intersection of advanced analytics and commercial consulting, with full ownership of client delivery and team leadership.

The position offers a clear step up from a Senior individual contributor role, combining hands-on modelling with leadership responsibility and direct exposure to senior client stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of predictive modelling and machine learning solutions for enterprise clients
• Own senior client relationships and act as the lead data science voice on engagements
• Manage and develop a team of Data Scientists and Associates
• Drive commercial use cases such as churn prediction, customer health scoring, next best action, and revenue forecasting
• Partner with consulting teams to shape strategy and influence decision-making
• Support business development and pre-sales activity

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in data science within a commercial or client-facing environment
• Strong experience leading projects and managing junior team members
• Advanced Python skills with a strong foundation in machine learning and statistical modelling
• Consulting experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical work into business impact
• Quantitative academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar
