A client is seeking a Jr. Network Specialist to support a school district in Westchester County, NY. The role involves 100% deskside support, assisting approximately 300-500 staff members, including executives, teachers, and students. Responsibilities include resolving tickets related to:

• Active Directory support and password resets
• Network connectivity troubleshooting
• Smart board, hardware, and projector support
• Imaging labs, printer repairs
• Email and application support

During summer, the focus shifts to managing projects such as migrations, deployments, upgrades, and equipment refreshes. Strong customer service skills and basic network knowledge are essential for effective communication of issues and solutions.

• 2+ years in an IT support role
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software incidents
• Experience with Active Directory, password resets, and user account management
• Basic network understanding (Wi-Fi troubleshooting, TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
• Experience with ticket management systems
• Excellent communication, eagerness to learn, and customer service skills
• Owns a car and has a driver’s license

• Experience in educational or instructional IT environments
• Recent experience with Service Now
