We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes within the Investment Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of KYC operations, requirements gathering, and testing, coupled with recent exposure to AI and Generative AI (GanAI) projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and remote stakeholders to enhance KYC processes and implement innovative solutions.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $140k - $160k/year and benefits (see below).

The Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of features list, business requirements, and technical specifications for KYC projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical documentation.
  • Support testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and system testing.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within KYC operations.
  • Contribute to AI/GanAI-based projects, leveraging innovative technologies to optimize KYC workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with remote teams, particularly in India, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Present findings, progress, and technical insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all deliverables.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in KYC and related functions within a large Investment Bank or KYC operations providers.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in KYC operations and associated topics.
  • Proven track record in developing detailed requirements and specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a large Investment Bank or KYC service provider environment.
  • Experience in AI/GanAI projects for at least 1 year.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams located in India.
  • Financial certifications such as FINRA or CFA are preferred.
Preferred, but not required
  • Deep understanding of KYC/CDD processes, regulatory compliance, and AML standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in requirements management, process modeling, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of AI and GanAI technologies and their application in financial services.
  • Ability to coordinate with global teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
