Requirements- 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on Epic EMR–related projects.
- Strong knowledge of Epic modules such as Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, or others.
- Proficient with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven experience leading Agile teams in a healthcare or consulting environment.
- Ability to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and manage competing priorities.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
- Experience in healthcare IT environments, especially with provider organizations such as hospitals or health systems.
- PMP, PMI‑ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar Agile/PM certification.
- Previous consulting experience with healthcare IT or digital transformation.
- Experience using Agile project management tools (Jira, Trello, Azure Dev Ops).
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare integration standards.
- Ability to translate technical discussions into clear business terms for non‑technical audiences.
Our client seeks an experienced Agile IT Project Manager with deep expertise in Epic EMR systems and healthcare operations. The role leads cross‑functional teams and delivers high‑impact technology projects within Epic environments, focusing on implementation, optimization, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Epic‑related project initiatives using Agile principles.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Epic analysts, IT engineers, clinical staff, leadership—to define and deliver project objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Serve as liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication.
- Document and track user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements using tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
- Identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks proactively.
- Maintain alignment with compliance standards, data privacy regulations (HIPAA), and change management best practices.
- Deliver status reports and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain the firm’s reputation for delivery excellence.
