VP of Transformation, AI & Business Intelligence

We’re partnered with a fast-growing, capital-backed financial services firm operating at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology. The organization works with large, complex enterprises and has quietly built a strong foundation over the past few years. They are now entering a new phase focused on scaling their internal systems, data capabilities, and automation initiatives.

This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity to step into a senior, cross-functional role where you will shape how finance, operations, and technology come together to drive real revenue outcomes. With core systems like Net Suite and Snowflake now stabilized, the organization is ready to aggressively scale its use of business intelligence, automation, and AI. This role will be at the center of that transformation.

The company is seeking a senior, highly consultative leader (VP-level) to drive enterprise transformation initiatives across Finance and Operations. This individual will act as a strategic partner to the business by owning discovery, solution design, and execution of key initiatives across Net Suite, BI, and AI-enabled workflows.

This is a front-office impact role disguised as a technical position—your work will directly support and scale client-facing financial operations, ultimately driving top-line revenue.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Technology and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Data.

• Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives across Finance and Operations, from discovery and whiteboarding solutions to implementation
• Act as a consultative partner to business stakeholders, deeply understanding workflows and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization
• Drive the implementation of AR Cash Application solutions, improving efficiency across millions in daily cash receipts and numerous reconciliations
• Own and improve reconciliation and auditing processes, increasing automation and accuracy
• Develop and scale BI and reporting capabilities beyond Net Suite using Snowflake and Sigma
• Identify and implement AI-driven workflow automation (e.g., leveraging tools like Claude) to streamline operations
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, partnering with engineering and data teams for execution
• Serve as a Net Suite subject matter expert, optimizing system usage and integrations across the organization
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Data, and Leadership teams to drive adoption and measurable impact

• Deep expertise in Net Suite, including implementations, optimization, and integrations
• Strong background in Finance and/or Operations, ideally within complex, high-volume transactional environments
• Experience working with data infrastructure and BI tools (Snowflake, Sigma, or similar)
• Proven experience leading cross-functional transformation or systems initiatives
• Familiarity with or strong interest in AI-driven automation and emerging technologies
• Strong consultative skillset—ability to gather requirements, whiteboard solutions, and influence stakeholders
• Excellent project management and execution capabilities in fast-moving environments
• Exceptional communication and soft skills—this role requires heavy collaboration across teams
• Comfortable operating as a high-impact individual contributor in a lean, high-growth environment
• Based in or willing to work in New York City
