Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst

Overview
Strong domain expertise in Investment Management. The role supports enterprise-wide data governance, business glossary management, and business process initiatives within Capgemini.
Job Location:
Newark, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid).
- Create, maintain, and manage enterprise business glossaries and metadata definitions.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to standardize investment management terminology.
- Support data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives.
- Review and validate business definitions, data lineage, and governance artifacts.
- Understand, document, and optimize investment management business processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple investment domains.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive alignment on key business concepts.
- Support data quality, regulatory, and governance initiatives across investment platforms.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of business terminology across systems and reporting environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services
- Proven experience in business glossary development and metadata management
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and operational workflows
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Experience with investment management platforms such as Aladdin
- Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Informatica, or similar
- Knowledge of data lineage, data quality, and governance best practices
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or regulatory programs
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong domain expertise in Investment Management
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly terminology
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
- Problem-solving mindset with process improvement orientation
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 78,862 – 90,317 USD. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside the posted range based on factors including location, education, experience, certifications, and performance.
