Job Description

Insight Global's engineering consulting firm client is seeking an IT Support Administrator to join their staff out of their New York City office. This individual should be a highly skilled, customer-focused IT professional who serves as the senior escalation point for end-user support within a 170+ person engineering firm, prioritizing clear communication and full ownership of issue resolution. Operating in a Microsoft-centric environment (Windows, M365, Azure), this role focuses on deeply understanding systems managed by external consultants and ensuring a seamless experience for internal users when standard help desk support falls short.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex end-user IT issues across Windows, M365, and Azure environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues involving endpoints, authentication, cloud applications, and connectivity
  • Partner with external consultants while maintaining documentation, supporting user lifecycle processes, and ensuring effective communication and support readiness

  • Advanced proficiency within the MS Suite, Windows OS, Azure AD/Entra
  • Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive
