About The Role
The Reg Tech team at Drive Wealth develops data products that provide our compliance department with the necessary data and insights to ensure all regulatory obligations are met. We are looking for a Sr. Analytics Engineer focusing on creating, maintaining, and monitoring highly curated data sources and statistics critical for internal compliance and external regulatory reporting.
What You’ll Do- Own the Regulatory and Supervisory Data Layer:
Architect, build, and maintain data marts and Sigma reports used for critical regulatory functions and internal compliance monitoring. - Translate Regulation to Data:
Work directly with business partners and Compliance to translate new regulatory rules, changes, and reporting obligations into precise analytics engineering requirements and data flows. - Support Ad-Hoc Inquiries and Regulatory Exams:
Respond quickly and accurately to ad-hoc data requests and regulatory examination inquiries from Compliance and Legal teams. - Implement Controls and Quality:
Drive data quality for regulatory reporting by leading the development and implementation of controls, performing user acceptance testing, coordinating remediation of reporting anomalies, and establishing best‑in‑class development practices. - Document and Standardize:
Document, revise, and maintain data procedures and process flows as required by internal audit and regulatory standards.
- Deep domain knowledge in Fin Tech/Capital Markets, including a strong understanding of the trade/order lifecycle (Orders, Executions, Allocations) and US regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience working within a larger data team, balancing ideation on solutions, creating output, writing verification tests, and reviewing others’ work.
- Fluent in SQL.
- Familiarity with DBT is required.
- Experience with building business intelligence reports (Sigma Computing is preferred).
- Experience with Python (Jupyter Notebooks).
- Experience with No
SQL and semi‑structured data. - Familiarity with Databricks, AWS, Airflow, Git Hub, and AGILE development.
- Experience documenting and maintaining procedures for regulatory purposes.
- Technical understanding of common regulatory reporting regimes (e.g., CAT, LOPR, EBS, TRACE).
New York, NY (Hybrid). Pay Range: $150,000 USD - $180,000 USD.
