Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Catalogue Manager (DCM) Expert to oversee the configuration, deployment, and operational stability of our enterprise product catalog infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the technical implementation of core base products along with highly complex rule-based permutation and combination structures. Additionally, this position requires strong Dev Ops-adjacent capabilities, as you will be responsible for deploying DCM container images to cloud infrastructure and administering the underlying database layers to ensure peak system performance.
Key Responsibilities Digital Catalogue Engineering:
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the enterprise Digital Catalogue Management (DCM) application platform. Product Schema Configuration:
Model and configure base catalog products, defining complex dependency rules, pricing structures, and systemic permutation/combination matrices. Containerized Deployments:
Manage the lifecycle of DCM container images, maintaining hands-on responsibility for deploying images directly onto AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters. Database Administration:
Understand the architecture of the underlying MongoDB database, executing critical maintenance tasks, indexing, structure optimizations, and core data activities. Vendor & Product Team
Collaboration:
Act as the main technical point of contact with the core DCM product engineering group—effectively diagnosing, logging, and explaining day-to-day environmental issues while proposing structural optimizations and new feature enhancements. Integrated Environment Operations:
Supervise and maintain daily operational activities across fully integrated upstream and downstream staging environments to support flawless catalogue publication cycles. Required
Skills & Qualifications DCM Subject Matter Expertise:
Deep, practical experience navigating and configuring specialized enterprise Digital Catalogue Management software. Cloud Infrastructure
Skills:
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud platform tools, specifically building, debugging, or deploying applications to AWS EKS (Kubernetes). Database Knowledge:
Solid proficiency with No
SQL environments, specifically MongoDB, including writing queries, schema navigation, and performance analysis. Systems Problem-Solving:
Outstanding troubleshooting skills to isolate configuration issues from underlying container runtime or database failures. Communication &
Collaboration:
Clear communication style, with a proven ability to translate operational errors into clear engineering requests for software development squads.
