Contract to hire Description Background, drug, and citizenship screening requirements apply. Per federal law, marijuana is included in the drug screening process and is not permitted even if authorized locally. Candidates must be able to confidently and safely lift up to 50 lbs and navigate between buildings and the production floor to support users. As a Lounge Specialist, you will serve as the front line of Client, providing onsite white-glove IT support to users at their location.
You will assist customers with application support, technology questions, hardware, and services while identifying user needs, troubleshooting issues, and either resolving them directly or ensuring the correct process is followed for resolution. In this role, you will educate users on technology features, support hardware selection, conduct demonstrations and training, and provide software and personal training sessions on standard tools. You will act as the customer advocate and primary coordination point for all customer issues and requests, taking ownership even when resolution extends beyond your direct scope.
• Provide onsite deskside support and white-glove customer service for all IT-related questions and issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and technology issues and resolve them promptly or route them through the correct support process.
• Serve as the customer advocate and take ownership of user issues through to resolution.
• Educate users on technology features, standard tools, and best practices.
• Assist users with hardware selection, demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Deliver software training and personalized support sessions for end users.
• Manage multiple simultaneous support requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Document and track incidents using relevant call tracking applications.
• Coordinate support needs across teams when issues fall outside direct scope. Skills
• 3–6 years of experience supporting PC hardware and software in a deskside or onsite support environment.
• Strong customer service skills with an approachable, empathetic, and solutions-focused attitude.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of installation and operation of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment.
• Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, client relationships, and expectations simultaneously.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and move between buildings and the production floor to support users.
• A+ certification.
• Microsoft MCP certification is a plus.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer experiences through frequent in-person interaction.
