IT Project Intermediate Analyst

The Markets Operations Technology group develops and implements applications that support core Markets Operations. The role focuses on Agile Scrum Master responsibilities within this team.
Responsibilities- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.).
- Guide teams in Agile adoption and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and foster collaboration.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure clear backlog, prioritization, and value-driven delivery.
- Track and report Agile metrics to measure performance and drive improvements.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and Agile maturity across teams.
- Take action based on retrospectives and sprint metrics to improve sprint execution and velocity.
- Champion and embody the Scrum way-of-life across the development teams, encouraging iterative and collaborative development.
- Creatively apply Scrum and Sprint Planning processes to address unique situations.
- Foster an environment of trust, good faith, growth, creativity and empower the team to self-organize, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution.
- Ensure the scrum team adheres to core Agile principles of collaboration, task prioritization, accountability, and visibility.
- Ensure adherence to Citi Agile SDLC processes and procedures.
- Advising or coaching those new to Agile methodology, guiding them in writing user stories, release schedules, and planning.
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and long-term roadmap development.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for senior management.
- Utilize Project Tracking Systems (PTS) to monitor project status, resource allocation, and key milestones.
- Support project budgeting and financial tracking, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
- 5-7 years of experience, including 3-5 years as a Scrum Master in large-scale enterprise change projects & programs.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum practices in complex enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and collaboration/reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum management, sprint and release planning.
- Experience across multiple Scrum teams of varying sizes, contexts, and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in project financial management and reporting.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications preferred:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or PMP.
