Executive Director – Front Office Technology Business Management & Integration

10 is currently seeking an Executive Director – Front Office Technology Business Management & Integration for a direct placement opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY.

The Executive Director, Front Office Technology Business Management & Integration serves as the primary technology counterpart to Front Office Business Management, accountable for translating business priorities into cohesive, executable technology outcomes across Coverage, Capital Markets, and Structured Finance. This role owns end‑to‑end orchestration across Front Office technology platforms, ensuring delivery is business‑aligned, operationally sound, and strategically consistent while eliminating fragmentation across tools, vendors, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Technology Orchestration
  • Act as the single point of accountability for Front Office technology delivery across Sales, Trading, Coverage, and Structured Finance.
  • Own the end‑to‑end integration model across CRM, workflow/orchestration tools, analytics, and execution platforms.
  • Establish and enforce a clear technology “assembly line” – defining how tools fit together, where ownership sits, and how solutions scale across the firm.
Business Partnership & Alignment
  • Partner directly with Front Office Business Management to:
  • Translate business priorities into executable technology roadmaps.
  • Align funding, sequencing, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure technology initiatives materially improve banker productivity and client outcomes.
  • Serve as the technology voice to the business, and the business voice into Technology leadership.
Delivery Governance & Execution
  • Provide oversight across all Front Office technology initiatives, ensuring:
  • Clear ownership and accountability.
  • Realistic delivery plans and milestones.
  • Elimination of duplicative or non‑strategic tools.
  • Challenge “tool‑first” thinking and ensure solutions are live, adopted, and supported before being positioned as strategic.
  • Adoption, Readiness & Change:
  • Own the go‑to‑market and adoption strategy for Front Office technology:
    • Training and readiness plans.
    • Communication and change management.
    • Feedback loops with bankers and desk heads.
  • Ensure platforms are not only delivered but used effectively and consistently across teams.
  • Data, Controls & Governance:
    • Partner with data governance, architecture, and risk teams to ensure:
      • Accurate and timely data delivery.
      • Appropriate controls and entitlements.
      • Regulatory and operational compliance across Front Office platforms.
  • Support firm‑wide standards while remaining pragmatic to Front Office needs.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
    • Coordinate across Technology verticals (Corporate Systems, Markets Technology, Architecture, Transformation).
    • Influence senior stakeholders across Front Office, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance without direct authority.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to MD‑level business and technology leadership.
Key Qualifications
  • 15 years in Front Office Technology, Technology Business Management, or large‑scale transformation roles within a capital markets environment.
  • Deep understanding of Sales & Trading, Coverage, and Structured Finance workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑platform technology ecosystems.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to challenge constructively and drive alignment.
  • Track record of turning fragmented toolsets into coherent, scalable operating models.

Pay rate range: $240,000 – $260,000 a year.
