Lead Software Developer – JDE ERP (JD Edwards Enterprise One) Job Summary

#LOWCODEMINDS seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer – JDE ERP to lead the design, development, customization, and support of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE development tools, integrations, ERP architecture, and team leadership. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, mentoring developers, and delivering scalable ERP solutions that support enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end JDE ERP development projects and enhancements.
Design, develop, customize, and maintain JDE Enterprise One applications and integrations.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and support:
JDE custom applications
Reports (RDA, BI Publisher)
Business Functions
UBE reports
Orchestrator integrations
BSSV/Web Services
Manage Object Management Workbench (OMW) activities and package deployments.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
Coordinate with functional consultants, QA teams, and business users.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.
Create technical documentation, test plans, and deployment procedures.
Participate in integration testing, UAT, and go-live support activities.

Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

Strong experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) development.
FDA (Form Design Aid)
RDA (Report Design Aid)
Business Functions
JDE Orchestrator
BSSV / REST / SOAP integrations
Experience with:
SQL / Oracle Database
PL/SQL
CNC concepts (preferred)
BI Publisher / Create!

Form
Knowledge of ERP modules such as:
Finance (AP, AR, GL)
Procurement
Manufacturing
Familiarity with API integrations and third-party systems.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Dev Ops, and version control systems.

Leadership Skills

Team leadership and mentoring experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Typically, 8–12+ years of ERP/JDE development experience.
2–5 years in a lead or technical leadership role preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle JDE certifications.
Experience with JDE 9.2 upgrades and cloud environments.
Knowledge of integration middleware and enterprise architecture.
Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain industries.
