The SAP Workstream Lead – Procurement will lead the procurement side of Moog’s ERP Transformation Program, providing leadership, process governance, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination throughout all phases of the program.

Responsibilities
  • Process Governance & Standards – Define, maintain, and enforce global process modeling standards, templates, and methodologies; ensure all process documentation aligns with governance requirements and enterprise design principles; deploy standardized SAP S/4

    HANA processes across Aerospace & Defense sites and refine global template design.
  • Team Leadership – Assign work to Process Analysts, review deliverables, coach and mentor analysts to increase team consistency and process maturity; provide oversight of cross‑functional training and testing activities within the workstream.
  • Coordination & Alignment – Consolidate cross‑functional process documentation; ensure process designs reflect approvals from Global Business Process Owners; meet regularly with stakeholders to confirm SAP design and implementation meets operational needs; support post‑implementation continuous improvement strategy.
  • Quality Assurance – Validate future‑state process designs meet objectives, system requirements, and integration needs; conduct structured reviews to identify gaps, redundancies, inconsistencies, or design risks; establish performance metrics to ensure business outcomes.
  • Collaboration – Partner with GBPOs, functional leads and Organizational Change Management teams to communicate process impacts; serve as intermediary between SAP technical teams and business stakeholders; document and communicate functional requirements to technical teams.
  • Testing & Validation Support – Oversee creation of test scripts based on approved process flows; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT); develop end‑user training materials and rollout plans; train end‑users during site rollout and support post‑go‑live.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Over three (3) years of procurement experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry; five (5) years preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and experience with ERP systems, including process improvement and data gathering/reporting.
  • Demonstrated people‑management experience – minimum of 2 years directly managing, leading, or coordinating teams.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to articulate organizational objectives to stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience with cross‑functional partners (Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT).
  • Expertise using process modeling tools and methods (BPMN, Visio, ARIS, Signavio).
  • Deep understanding of ERP concepts, global business processes, and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks such as ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 27031, or NIST SP 800‑34.
  • Willingness to travel 20%–40% and must reside locally in the Buffalo, NY area.
  • Prior involvement in SAP S/4

    HANA implementations, system integration efforts, or enterprise‑level design projects is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cross‑functional business processes such as Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or HR.
  • Experience serving as a change leader to champion new systems and processes.
  • Access to U.S. export‑controlled information required.

Salary

Buffalo, NY$–$ annually. Base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given location.
