System Engineer

This hands‑on role supports the design, administration, security, and performance of a global enterprise infrastructure environment. The engineer will manage core systems, support business‑critical applications, troubleshoot escalated issues, and partner with technology teams on infrastructure and application delivery initiatives.

• Maintain secure, stable, and current infrastructure systems across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage Windows Server operations, including patching, security updates, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Configure, install, maintain, and support critical software and hardware components within a VMware virtualization environment.
• Configure and support Citrix, compute, storage, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure platforms.
• Support back‑office and business‑critical applications, including trading, fund accounting, and financial accounting systems.
• Troubleshoot escalated infrastructure issues and assist help desk and application support teams.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Provide operational reporting and recommendations related to infrastructure performance and utilization.
• Support infrastructure tasks throughout the application implementation lifecycle.
• Assist with capacity planning to ensure infrastructure systems meet business needs.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation, operational procedures, and system standards.

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering, administration, or operations experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, Azure, AWS, Cisco UCS, and enterprise storage. Experience with Active Directory troubleshooting, replication, domain setup, GPOs, ACLs, and consolidation.
• Experience planning, designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows Servers and Microsoft applications.
• Experience with Microsoft services, including Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange, SQL Server, and related platforms.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools such as Rapid

• Ability to manage monitoring tools, advanced alerts, operational reports, and task scheduling platforms.
• Strong Power Shell scripting skills and familiarity with repositories and CI/CD workflows.
• Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting experience.

This role supports a global infrastructure environment covering cloud, virtualization, Microsoft, Citrix, storage, security, monitoring, and business‑critical systems. The position combines daily operations with engineering project work in a high‑availability enterprise setting.
