Blockchain / Web3
Our mission is to bring web3 to a billion people, by providing builders with the tools they need to build exceptional onchain products. Alchemy is the only complete developer platform that offers the powerful APIs, SDKs, and tools necessary to build and scale onchain apps and rollups.
Our infrastructure powers 70% of the top web3 teams, 90%+ of web2 companies building in web3 and 100+ million end users. Our customers include top web3 brands like Polymarket, Open Sea, Circle, World Coin, as well as major global brands like Shopify and Adobe.
AboutThe Role
As a Senior Product Manager on the Data Services team, you will own the products that allow developers to make sense of the blockchain. From our Transfers API to custom indexing solutions, you are responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, real-time, and incredibly easy to use.
This is a highly technical role. You’ll be working with some of the best distributed systems engineers in the world to build products that handle billions of requests. You’ll win by deeply understanding the "developer's journey" and removing every friction point between a query and an insight.
What You'll Do- End-to-End Ownership: Own the roadmap, requirements, and release cycles for core Data Services products.
- Technical Spec’ing: Write high-quality PRDs that anticipate edge cases in blockchain data (re-orgs, forks, latency) and provide clear direction to Engineering.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Spend significant time with power users and enterprise partners to identify gaps in our data offerings and turn them into scalable features.
- Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on the evolving Web3 data landscape (Subgraphs, Indexers, Analytics) to ensure Alchemy remains the industry standard.
- Cross-functional Execution: Partner with Sales and Support to ensure the field is equipped to sell and support your products effectively.
- 8+ Years of PM
Experience:
You’ve shipped technical products know what "good" looks like for a developer-facing API or data platform. - Data Fluency: You are comfortable with SQL, understand REST vs. GraphQL, and can talk intelligently about data consistency and indexing strategies.
- Advanced Distributed Systems & Modeling: Deep expertise in architecting high-throughput distributed data systems, including streaming pipelines, indexing strategies, and optimized schemas for large-scale datasets with a focus on partitioning and eventual consistency.
- API Design & Performance Engineering: Proven track record in designing developer-facing REST/GraphQL APIs, managing complex trade-offs between latency and cost, and establishing rigorous SLAs for data freshness and query reliability.
- Execution Bias: You have a "get it done" attitude. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and can pivot quickly when the market shifts.
- Web3 Knowledge (Nice to have, but not required)
- Protocol-Level Indexing: Understanding of EVM internals (logs vs. traces, reorg mechanics) and experience building deterministic indexing systems that transform raw block data into reliable developer primitives.
- Cross-Chain & Onchain Semantics: Familiarity with cross-chain nuances (L2 finality, sequencers) and the ability to translate complex onchain activity—such as token standards and trace trees—into structured data models.
- Clarity of Communication: You can explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders without losing the nuance.
