UX​/UI Designer - Meatpacking District

Summary

The UX/UI Designer will own user-centered design for , creating on-brand interfaces, user journeys, and prototypes to improve conversion and experience across devices. This role sits on the ecommerce team in the New York headquarters and collaborates closely with design, development, brand, and marketing to deliver scalable site experiences. The position is onsite five days a week in the Meatpacking District.

• Develop site standards, modules, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Create a UX roadmap to identify CRO issues and propose scalable solutions.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to validate and iterate on design changes.
• Design adaptable experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Plan and conduct usability testing and adjust designs based on user feedback.
• Regularly review site and consumer data to inform design decisions and optimize conversion paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals, technical constraints, and ensure feasibility.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, and ecomm guidelines.

• 2+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of user-centered projects.
• Expertise in mobile, tablet, and desktop design best practices and responsive design.
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability testing, accessibility standards, and A/B testing interpretation.
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus; animation or motion design is a bonus.
