Level 1 & Level 2 Field Techs​/Desktop Support

L1 and L2 Desktop Technicians

Location:

New York and Jersey City – ONSITE – varied locations. Shift: Monday through Friday: 8am to 5pm. Initiative:
Desktop Set Up for buildings. Part‑time temporary.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot desktop and workstation equipment and software, including telephones, desktops/laptops (Microsoft and Apple) and printers.
• Handle equipment installation and moves with little or no supervision.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve basic troubleshooting items, deferring to a supervisor or Level 1 tech for more complex hardware issues.
• Work well under supervision.
• Training will be provided.

• Install all equipment that has been staged by the Level 1 team.
• Document work for equipment successfully installed and any errors that occur, within the provided Smart Sheets link.

• Distribute and stage each desk with the necessary equipment.
• Standard desk includes two monitors, VDI, camera, and peripherals.
• Additional equipment will be provided for each trader desk.
• Document work within the provided Smart Sheets link: what equipment has been staged at each desk.
