UI/UX Design, Product Designer
Our client, a leading organization in the SaaS and eCommerce industry, is seeking a User Experience Designer to join their team. As a User Experience Designer, you will be part of the Product Design department supporting the Gift & Stored Value team. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: User Experience Designer
Location: New York, NY (On-site required 3 to 5 days a week at 1 Broadway, New York, NY; flexibility to be onsite as needed)
What's the Job?- Enhance and develop tokenized design systems within Figma, building scalable UI components and templates
- Support UX/UI design initiatives across merchant management SaaS platforms and eCommerce storefronts
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences
- Contribute to the creation of an interactive UI toolkit, likely utilizing Storybook
- Participate in multiple project phases, from design system grooming to product feature design and implementation
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, clean UI, and atomic design system work
- Proficiency in building and extending tokenized design systems and familiarity with atomic design methodology
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Basic front-end coding skills, including HTML/CSS; experience with Storybook is a plus
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers, with a problem-solving mindset and ability to manage time effectively
