Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Fabric Expert with deep, hands‑on expertise across the entire Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a recognized specialist in Microsoft Fabric architecture, Data Engineering, Power BI, and One Lake, capable of designing and delivering enterprise‑grade, end‑to‑end analytics solutions.
This role requires someone who has very deep technical knowledge, can provide thought leadership, and can guide teams in adopting Fabric as the central analytics platform.
Must Have8+ years of total experience in Data Engineering / BI / Analytics.
4+ years hands‑on with Microsoft Fabric (early adoption is a big plus).Strong background in modern data platforms—Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks (preferred but not mandatory).Microsoft Certifications (Fabric, Azure, Power BI) are a plus.
Very deep, hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Fabric—architecture, features, governance, engineering, and analytics.
Advanced experience with One Lake, shortcuts, security, governance, and workspace management.
Strong Data Engineering background with deep knowledge of Delta Lake, PySpark, Fabric Notebooks, Pipelines.
Expert in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Direct Lake, incremental refresh, and governance.
Proven experience in building end‑to‑end analytics solutions on Fabric.
Must have deep technical proficiency in Fabric Lake houses, Warehouses, KQL Databases, Real‑time Analytics Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Spark Notebooks Medallion architecture, ETL/ELT frameworks
Azure AD / Entra , security, and data governanceSQL, Python, DAX, M Query Dev Ops , CI/CD for Fabric & Power BI (bonus)
Ability to design enterprise‑scale architectures.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Experience mentoring technical teams and driving technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement enterprise‑scale analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric as the core platform.
Define best practices, governance models, and operating frameworks for Fabric capacities, work spaces, domains, and pipelines.
Lead migration strategies from legacy data platforms to Fabric (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, SQL, Power BI).Build and optimize Data Engineering pipelines using Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Lake houses, Notebooks, and Warehouse objects.
Implement medallion architecture, delta tables, ingestion frameworks, and Fabric pipelines.
Manage, optimize, and partition large‑scale datasets for performance and cost efficiency.
Design and manage One Lake data architecture, shortcuts, security layers, domains, and storage policies.
Implement governance frameworks including data security, sensitivity labels, RBAC, data lineage, and cataloging.
Optimize One Lake usage across multi‑domain analytics environments.
Build highly optimized Power BI semantic models connected to Fabric Lake houses/Warehouses.
Implement enterprise BI practices—data modeling, row‑level security, incremental refresh, composite models, Direct Lake.
Provide performance tuning and best practices for large datasets and complex reporting scenarios.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, domain leads, and engineering teams to translate business needs into Fabric‑based solutions.
Provide mentoring, technical leadership, and subject‑matter expertise to internal teams.
Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving Fabric roadmap and bring innovative capabilities into the organization.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: USD $90000 - $110786 Per Year.
