- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of program management experience within content design, design or UX organizations.
- Experience with UX related projects and UX content strategy, design, user research, or user‑centered development tools and methodologies.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), designing agentic experiences, or model training.
- Experience with the product development lifecycle.
- Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive strategy.
- Experience managing risks (e.g., operational, product, team health).
- Background in content design or experience working with content design.
- Ability to operationalize programs from 0 to 1 and thrive in ambiguity.

The UX Programs & Operations team drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user‑centered development. In this role you will join a multi‑disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to create industry‑leading products based on user insights.
As a UX Program Manager you will combine expert project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions. Your responsibilities include planning projects, defining milestones, assessing risks, creating actionable insights, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will harmonize the work of various UX disciplines and cross‑functional partners to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.
The Model Behavior Trust and Quality UX team is dedicated to defining the standard for helpful and trustworthy AI interactions and bringing relentless focus to quality. You will own planning through completion across programs in this complex AI‑first portfolio, establishing and scaling processes, documentation, and learnings for model behavior programs, unblocking workflows, and defining priorities in collaboration with partners across multiple teams within Google.

Responsibilities- Drive and define Model UX operational processes to provide clarity, enable team efficiency, and craft quality.
- Plan, organize, and oversee UX programs from initiation through to completion, ensuring all initiatives align with broader organizational goals.
- Serve as a central collaborator, connecting UX with Engineering and Product Management partners and stakeholders across Google to build strong relationships, manage expectations, and ensure interdependencies are understood and planned.
- Identify and address blockers, whether they relate to design workflows or operational inefficiencies, to maintain momentum in an ambiguous environment.
- Drive quarterly planning and resource management/allocation for the team in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159,000 - $231,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
