UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Public Safety Project Manager with experience in Event Management and Public Safety & Emergency Services environments for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) in Brooklyn, NY. Active Linked In preferred. This role will support Public Safety & Emergency Management initiatives by leading the design, implementation, and management of enterprise monitoring and alerting solutions. The Project Manager will oversee complex technology projects, coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, manage technical requirements and system design activities, and ensure successful project delivery in accordance with PMO standards and established project management methodologies.

Note:
Candidates who do not possess the mandatory qualifications will not be considered.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in Event Management and Public Safety & Emergency Services environments.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience managing and overseeing medium to large-scale technology projects.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols and data delivery techniques.
- Knowledge of Operations Management, including Service Desk, Help Desk, and Data Center operations.
- Functional knowledge of operating systems, databases, and IT infrastructure components.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Monitoring tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Monitoring solutions supporting Service Automation, Service Assurance, and Service Support.
- Experience serving as the primary point of contact for project management, financial, administrative, and technical matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Demonstrated project management experience including project planning, scheduling, dependency management, and delivery oversight.
- Strong technical leadership experience within large-scale enterprise environments supporting emergency services organizations.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Additional experience supporting large-scale emergency services technology environments is highly desirable.
- Experience developing and designing VISIO or CAD type engineering drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications with custom configuration to meet the project needs.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements necessary to design and implement complex Public Safety & Emergency Management enterprise monitoring systems.
- Lead the design and development of Enterprise Monitoring solutions that meet monitoring, alerting, performance, and operational requirements.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, system diagrams, technical specifications, and bills of materials using Visio, CAD, or similar design tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the design and implementation of required hardware and software components to support enterprise monitoring capabilities.
- Manage system validation activities, ensuring functionality, performance, fault tolerance, and operational readiness requirements are met.
- Coordinate technical discussions regarding system specifications, architecture, and bill of materials requirements for Public Safety & Emergency Management projects.
- Provide leadership and oversight for blended teams consisting of agency staff, consultants, and vendor resources.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure project deliverables meet contractual and operational expectations.
