Senior Application Engineer, Modern Desktop

Our client is AM LAW 25 law firm, and they are looking for a Senior Application Engineer to lead and shape their Microsoft productivity ecosystem. This includes updating, integrating, testing, and providing recommendations and input for their end‑user tools and applications (Windows, Office, and Litera). The ideal candidate should have excitement and energy for working with these product stacks and is constantly staying up to date on current trends related to them.

You will also need to be technical enough to work on technology initiatives (deployments, rollouts, etc.) and will help provide end‑user support alongside the desktop team.

Senior Application Engineer, Modern Desktop

New York City (Hybrid – Onsite 3x a week)

• Owning the firm's 365 environment – Office, Teams, Outlook, Litera, and additional applications
• Act as SME for end‑user applications and define standards of Microsoft and Litera products
• Develop best practices and provide oversight on the creation for all Microsoft 365 and integrated applications
• Will be the escalation point for technical issues related to the Microsoft stack
• Assist desktop team with ticket resolution

• Must have experience managing Windows, Office, and Litera product applications
• Proactively aware of Windows and Office product trends
• Technical background (Desktop and/or systems)
• Excellent communication
