Oscar is hiring a Senior Specialist, Marketing Automation to join our CRM Team.
AboutThe Role
The Marketing Automation Senior Specialist develops and executes automated marketing programs across Oscar's marketing automation tools, supporting the design, build, and launch of complex email and journey‑based campaigns. Working closely with Marketing, Data and Operations teams, this person translates marketing strategies into technical workflows, ensuring flawless and error‑free execution. You will report to the Senior Manager, CRM.
Work LocationThis position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in‑office work per week. Thursdays are a required in‑office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.
Pay TransparencyBase pay: $83,628 – $109,761 per year.

Responsibilities- Execute the end‑to‑end technical build of campaigns, translating marketing briefs into technical workflows in our automation platforms that support growth and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with Data and Ops teams to utilize existing data structures and integrations for audience segmentation and journey logic.
- Use SQL to pull defined target audiences and perform troubleshooting to resolve data or logic discrepancies.
- QA all campaign components prior to launch to ensure error‑free execution.
- Monitor campaigns performance post‑launch to ensure campaigns are performing as intended.
- Develop expertise across Oscar's marketing automation tool ecosystem, maintaining templates, content blocks, and campaign development processes to contribute to platform governance, documentation, and best practice adoption.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of professional experience with a primary focus on marketing automation, marketing operations, or campaign execution.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience building complex workflows in marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or Braze, using HTML and AMPscript to build dynamic email templates.
- 1+ year of experience using SQL to query databases, build data extensions, and troubleshoot audience or data issues.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Data Cloud for data harmonization and identity resolution.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification.
- Background in B2C Marketing.
- Proficiency in Analytic and BI tools.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as insurance or banking.
