Infrastructure Advisory
Technical management of the administration, operation, and support of the technology platforms under their responsibility, ensuring their operation based on the agreed service levels.
FunctionsResolve and prevent issues related to Active Directory and DNS servers at the application/service level in critical mission systems that require immediate solutions, aiming to ensure the availability of the systems in accordance with the established service levels and with a high level of integrity and reliability.
Manage corrective actions in a timely manner, executing the escalation procedures for any problems or deficiencies detected in the technology platform under their charge, ensuring the correct compliance with the service level of the technology platform.
1. Implementation of changes
- Carry out the implementation of changes in the Active Directory and DNS infrastructure during their shift.
- Ensure that changes are made in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2. AD/DNS platform review:
- Conduct periodic reviews of the Active Directory and DNS platform to ensure proper operation.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before they affect operations.
3. Scheduled maintenance:
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance on the Active Directory and DNS infrastructure.
- Coordinate with other teams to minimize impact on operations.
4. Incident response:
- Respond to incidents related to Active Directory and DNS promptly.
- Investigate and resolve issues to restore service as quickly as possible.
5. Disaster recovery:
- Execute disaster recovery plans for Active Directory and DNS.
- Conduct periodic tests of recovery plans to ensure their effectiveness.
6. Health checks:
- Perform regular health checks on the Active Directory infrastructure.
- 4 years of experience in administration/operation of Microsoft Active Directory and DNS Server platforms.
- Technical knowledge in infrastructure design, configuration, implementation, and migration in a mid-sized/Enterprise Active Directory environment.
- Advanced knowledge in Power Shell.
- Knowledge for managing systems, current technologies for hardware, software, and processes, as well as industry standards such as ITIL.
