Product Design Lead - Tech

Salary: $165,000-$289,000 base, depending on experience

We're supporting a fast-growing technology company looking for a Product Design Lead to take ownership of a key product area within a complex B2B platform.

This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who enjoys solving intricate product problems, simplifying operational complexity, and designing elegant workflows for both technical and non-technical users. You'll work closely with product, engineering, research, and leadership teams to shape long-term product direction while remaining deeply involved in hands-on design execution.

• Lead end-to-end design across a complex product vertical, from early discovery through to shipped product.
• Translate ambiguous, systems-heavy problems into clear, intuitive user experiences.
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and research teams to define product strategy and execution.
• Develop scalable design frameworks, patterns, and components that support a broader product ecosystem.
• Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, design specs, and final product experiences.
• Contribute to design reviews, mentor other designers, and help raise the overall quality bar.
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, business priorities, and long-term product vision.

• Around 7+ years' product design experience
  , ideally across complex SaaS, enterprise, fintech, HR tech, finance, workflow, or platform products.
• A strong track record designing and shipping scaled digital products.
• Experience working through ambiguity and simplifying dense technical or operational problems.
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to design across interconnected product areas.
• Excellent craft across interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and visual design.
• Confidence partnering with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-moving product environments would be highly relevant.
