Role Summary
The BI Analyst supports the on-account data and insights team for a financial services client, contributing to the development, maintenance and delivery of business intelligence tools, reporting and analytics. This position focuses on producing accurate, timely dashboards and analysis that help the client and account leadership make informed real‑estate decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the creation and maintenance of Power BI and Tableau dashboards supporting multiple service lines and account performance reporting.
- Transform and curate data from client‑managed systems integrated into the client’s cloud data environment (AWS) as well as JLL‑managed data sources.
- Contribute to data quality checks, cleansing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support automated reporting workflows and documentation of data processes.
- Generate recurring performance reports (KPIs, operational metrics) and basic ad‑hoc analyses.
- Identify trends and variances in real‑estate operations, providing proactive insights on service delivery.
- Present data findings clearly to internal and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with account teams to understand reporting requirements, goals and objectives.
- Work under the guidance of the Senior BI Analyst / BI Team Lead to develop technical and analytical skills.
- Contribute ideas to improve dashboards, reporting workflows and user experience.
- Follow data governance and security protocols aligned with client and JLL standards.
- Support consistent use of naming conventions, metric definitions and report templates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting or data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Familiarity with data querying in AWS Athena or a similar environment.
- Exposure to AWS Glue or similar ETL/data integration tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills and ability to convey findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with a high level of data accuracy and an analytical mindset.
Estimated compensation: $81,000 – $91,000 per year (actual package based on qualifications, location, market conditions and internal considerations).
