Compensation: Up to $200,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus

We are recruiting for a Senior Network Architect & Administrator to join a leading financial services and capital markets firm. This is a senior‑level infrastructure leadership role for someone who can balance strategic network architecture with hands‑on engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting mission‑critical enterprise environments, preferably within financial services, investment banking, trading, or capital markets, where network performance, security, and reliability are essential.

• Assess the existing enterprise network, identify weaknesses, and prioritize improvements.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise network infrastructure.
• Develop future‑state network architecture while remaining hands‑on with implementation, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and support enterprise routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Administer Next‑Generation Firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, or similar platforms.
• Design and support hybrid cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP with a security‑first approach.
• Build resilient, low‑latency network environments utilizing Zero Trust principles and secure partner connectivity.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to improve network reliability, scalability, and operational resilience.
• Create clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and implementation roadmaps while effectively communicating with technical teams and leadership.
• Leverage automation using Python, Power Shell, or Ansible (preferred) to streamline network administration and operations.

• 8+ years of experience in senior network engineering, architecture, or network administration.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in financial services, investment banking, trading, or other highly regulated environments.
• Ability to combine strategic architectural thinking with hands‑on technical execution.
• Experience designing highly available, low‑latency enterprise networks with a strong focus on security and operational excellence.
