Position: Staff Product Designer
Location: New York

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location:

New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $220,000 – $276,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Drive the design vision for scalable cross-product experiences
  • Lead comprehensive design processes for complex user journeys
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to shape product direction and roadmaps
  • Convert abstract challenges into structured frameworks and design principles
  • Enhance the design system for flexibility and consistent innovation
  • Mentor designers through feedback and guidance, fostering excellence
  • Model leadership by aligning business goals with user impact and design quality
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product design experience with a focus on system-level design and platform thinking
  • Demonstrated success leading complex design strategies and initiatives
  • Portfolio showcases visionary work demonstrating clarity and strategic insight
  • Experience influencing product direction at a senior leadership level
  • Proven track record of mentoring and leading design teams effectively
  • Mastery in information architecture and visual systems thinking
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to unite stakeholders
